Hey babes! It’s been forever since I’ve done a beauty empties review post! I’ve acquired quite a few things in my empties bin although I’m sure I probably tossed some since I haven’t done an empties post since September. Lol.

Beauty Empties Review #3 Makeup

Malin + Goetz Mojito Lip Balm ($14, Bloomingdale’s) This was nice! It was pretty moisturizing and I liked how smooth it felt on my lips.

• Repurchase? Possibly.

Sonia Kashuk Brightening Powder (~$10) This is such a nice translucent powder, especially for setting the under eyes! I’m not sure why I can never find this online because I’ve seen it in Target within the last few months.

• Repurchase? Probably not only because I’m obsessed with my Besame Violet Brightening Powder!

Mac Prep + Prime 24-Hour Extend Eye Base ($23, Ulta) This was an awesome eye primer! I have no complaints.

• Repurchase? Maybe one day. I’m wanting to try something new.

Sephora Collection Gel Serum Concealer in 02 Meringue ($14, Sephora) This is my perfect shade and I actually really liked the applicator! This is such a nice inexpensive concealer!

• Repurchase? Most likely one day! I’m wanting to finish a few I have first.

Becca Backlight Priming Filter ($18 for mini/$38 for full size, Sephora) This gave a really pretty glow! I liked concentrating it on my cheeks.

• Repurchase? Now that they have a mini size, I could see myself repurchasing that one day.

Beauty Empties Review #3 Mascara

Jack Black Intense Therapy Lip Balm SPF 25 in Lemon & Shea Butter ($ 7.50, Sephora) This is one of my favorite lip balms! I haven’t found the perfect one yet but this is one of the best that I’ve tried!

• Repurchase? I already have a backup!

Essence Lash Princess False Lash Effect Mascara ($4.99, Ulta) This is probably my favorite drugstore mascara!! You can see my full review here!

• Repurchase? I will most definitely repurchase after I finish my stash!

Maybelline The Falsies Push Up Drama Mascara ($9.49, Ulta) I would have liked this one more if it wasn’t such a wet formula! You can see my full review here!

• Repurchase? Probably not.

Covergirl Clump Crusher Waterproof Mascara ($7.99, Ulta) This is the best waterproof mascara I’ve tried!! It didn’t smudge but I also didn’t have to tug my eyes to remove it! I really like the regular version too!

• Repurchase? I will when I need a waterproof mascara! I typically get one every summer.

Covergirl LashBlast Volume Mascara ($8.99, Ulta) This was just an average mascara for me. You can see my full review here!

• Repurchase? No

MAC False Lashes Mascara ($12 for mini @ Nordstrom // $23 for full size @ Ulta) I didn’t care for this one. If you read my full review, you can read about some of the issues I had.

• Repurchase? No.

Stila Huge Extreme Lash Mascara ($23, Ulta) This is probably my favorite high end mascara!! It gave me volume, was super black, and was buildable! You can see my full review here!

• Repurchase? I already repurchased a full size!

Make Up For Ever Smoky Extravagant Mascara ($12 for mini/$24 for full size, Sephora) This was a nice mascara but I thought the wand was a bit big. You can see my full review here!

• Repurchase? Probably not.

Beauty Empties Review #3 Skincare

Sephora Collection Waterproof Eye Makeup Remover ($7.50-15, Sephora) This is such a great eye makeup remover! I think it’s similar to my favorite Lancome Bi-Facil!

• Repurchase? Already repurchased!

Purlisse Blue Lotus 4 in 1 Cleansing Milk ($36, Dermstore) I love this cleanser! It’s so creamy and feels luxurious! I’ve been prefering this type of cleanser.

• Repurchase? It’s on my list to repurchase after I finish a few other cleansers!

Lancer The Method Minis ($25, Sephora) I had been wanting to try Lancer but it’s such an expensive brand! They recently came out with a set that had minis of Polish, Cleanse, & Nourish. I couldn’t pass it up for $25!! The Cleanse was okay. I don’t think there was anything life changing about it but I really loved the Polish & Nourish! Between these and Curology, they made my skin so soft and got rid of my texture! I think the Nourish is the star but I’m wanting to get the mini trio again to make sure before I splurge on the full size!

• Repurchase? Yes!

Curology ($19.99/month + $4.95 shipping or $39.90 for 2 month supply or try free trial!) I’ve been using Curology since October and it’s really changed my skin! If you want to know more, let me know and I can do a full post about it!

• Repurchase? Yes, it’s the only beauty subscription I have right now. I can’t be without it! Lol.

Exuviance Glycolic Expert Moisturizer ($46, Ulta) This was a nice moisturizer but I don’t like how sticky it made my face! I didn’t notice it when I wore makeup but I did for an hour or two if I didn’t.

• Repurchase? No.

First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream ($12-36, Sephora) This is a really nice moisturizer for the winter! I keep going back to it!

• Repurchase? I’ve already repurchased!

Drunk Elephant Rise + Glow Duo ($23, Sephora) This set had the B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Gel & C-Firma Day Serum. I really liked the moisturizer for the daytime when it’s a bit warmer but it’s not enough moisture for me in the winter. The vitamin c serum is nice but I’m not sure it’s something I really need in my rotation.

• Repurchase? Maybe.

ISOI Bulgarian Rose Blemish Care Serum Plus (~$50) I received this through 0.8L awhile ago. It was pretty good for breakouts but Curology is my holy grail! Here’s an Instagram review I did with more info!

• Repurchase? No.

Tatcha Smoothing Silk Hand Cream ($8-38, Tatcha) I really liked this! It wasn’t greasy and it moisturized my hands pretty well.

• Repurchase? Maybe.

La Mer The Moisturizing Soft Cream ($85-315, Sephora) This was a pretty awesome moisturizer but holy moly that price!! I think the Lancer Nourish moisturizer helped with my texture more. It’s still crazy expensive!

• Repurchase? Probably not.

Shiseido Facial Cotton ($5-10, Sephora) I love these for eye makeup remover & toner! They are so soft!!

• Repurchase? Yes!

Foreo Luna Mini ($39, Sephora) I received this in an Allure beauty box. It lasted a little over a year before it died. I didn’t really notice a different when I used it. I much prefer my Clarisonic!

• Repurchase? No.

Haircare & Bodycare

Beauty Empties Review #3 Redken

**Redken & a few other haircare brands are buy 2, get 1 free right now at Ulta!! I don’t pay full price for any of my hair products. Lol.

Redken All Soft Shampoo ($15-29.50, Ulta) This is one of my favorite shampoos! This makes my hair so soft!

• Repurchase? I’m almost done with another one of these but I will repurchase again when Ulta has their liter sale!

Redken Beach Envy Volume Texturizing Shampoo ($19-34.50, Ulta) This gave me some great volume! I liked using it once or twice a week.

• Repurchase? Yes, I will at some point.

Redken All Soft Heavy Cream Super Treatment x3 ($18, Ulta) This is one of my favorite hair treatments! I use it as a mask and a regular conditioner too!

• Repurchase? I think I’ll always repurchase this! I’ve lost count on how many I’ve went through. Lol.

Beauty Empties Review #3 Haircare

Joico K-Pak Color Therapy Luster Lock ($4.99 for mini/$19.99 for full size, Ulta) I don’t know why but I just don’t have good luck with Joico’s conditioners! I didn’t find anything special about this one.

• Repurchase? No.

Joico K-Pak Deep Penetrating Reconstructor ($4.99-28.99, Ulta) I had to force myself to work through this since it was a pricier conditioner. This didn’t do anything for me. It felt like I didn’t use any conditioner at all!

• Repurchase? No.

It’s a 10 Five Minute Hair Repair For Blondes ($20.58, Ulta) I really like this! It’s a pretty good conditioner although I don’t think the purple color really does much for brightening.

• Repurchase? I repurchase this every once in awhile.

Head & Shoulders Green Apple Shampoo ($5.99-9.89, Target) This is the best shampoo for cleaning all the buildup from dry shampoo and other hair products! I use it about once a week. I always get compliments on the smell of my hair after I use it!

• Repurchase? Yes, I can’t be without this!

Living Proof Timeless Pre-Shampoo Treatment x2 ($26, Ulta) I’m not sure this really did much for my hair.

• Repurchase? Not sure.

Wella Oil Reflections Smoothing Oil (Normally $20-40 but on sale for $10.99!!, Ulta) This is my favorite hair oil I’ve ever tried! I like using it in my ends. It doesn’t make my hair crunchy like some do.

• Repurchase? I already repurchased and I got a gift with purchase of the light version to test out. I’m not sure why it’s on sale right now. I hope they aren’t discontinuing it! I’m tempted to buy a backup or two since it’s on such a good sale! Lol.

Color Brilliance by Ion Semi-Permanent Hair Color in Lavender ($5.99, Sally Beauty) I really like this line for adding fun colors to my hair! This shows up as a nice pale lavender on my hair and lasts about 2 weeks. Then it fades to gray, blue, and green but I don’t really mind those colors. Lol. This is probably the best smelling dye I’ve ever used!!

• Repurchase? I’ve already repurchased another one and got a pink too!

Beauty Empties Review #3 Haircare and Bodycare

Dove Deep Moisture Body Wash ($5.99-8.99, Target) I always come back to this body wash! It leaves my skin feeling so soft!

• Repurchase? Already have! They actually have a pump bottle now!

Dove Dry Spray Invisible Dry Spray ($5.49, Target) For a period of time I was using natural deodorants but they just don’t always do the job in the summer. I tried this because of Makeup by Tiffany D. It’s become my favorite! I like the faint scent. It keeps me dry unless it’s scorching hot and I like that it doesn’t transfer onto my clothes!

• Repurchase? Yes, already bought another!

Batiste Dry Shampoo in the Neon Lights Scent ($7.99, Ulta) This is my favorite dry shampoo but I don’t love this scent.

• Repurchase? Not this scent.

Batiste Dry Shampoo in the Wild Scent ($7.99, Ulta) This is my favorite scent of Batiste!! I can’t describe it but it smells so good!! I usually get it on sale at Marshalls but I recently found it for around the same price at Walmart!

• Repurchase? I just bought two backups!

Manic Panic Manic Mixer Pastel-izer ($8.99, Ulta) I got this free with the purchase of a color. I think a white conditioner works better to dilute a pigmented dye.

• Repurchase? No.

I think I need to start doing these more often. This post took forever to write! Lol. What have you used up lately? Do you have any recommendations for an eye primer, hair mask, or hand cream? Thanks for stopping by!

xoxo, Am ♥

P.S. Don’t forget to sign up for my weekly newsletter! I’ve kind of unintentionally been ignoring it the last few months but I’m going to try to get back to sending it out every week! Do you have a preference on the day it goes out?
